I grew up in the heart of Texas in the DFW area.

But it was in college, escaping dorm life for home-cooked meals at a friend’s house, where my cookie connection really clicked.

There was always a batch of chocolate chip cookies waiting, and somehow, everyone felt more relaxed, more welcome, and more at home, even thousands of miles away. 

That’s the thing about a good cookie. It brings people together.

After college, I started tweaking my own recipe. One batch at a time, one small change at a time, one bite (or a few bites) at a time.

And when everyone agreed that this was the best cookie they’d ever had, I knew we were ready.
